Takua Pa Old Town

While Takua Pa is officially the main town oh Phang Nga, it is rather quiet when comparing with Khao Lak. With about 30km or 40min drive north of Khao Lak Beach, both sides of the main road in Takua Pa Old Town are dotted with old buildings in Sino-Portuguese architecture, Chinese shrines and tea houses.  On Sundays, the main road is closed to traffic and become a lovely Sunday market.
