Beach after beach
Koh Samui has many white sandy beaches, with Chaweng and Lamai on the east being the most popular, both having accommodation, restaurants, bars and shops suitable for every budget. Located on Samui’s north coast, the beautiful beaches of Bo Phut and Mae Nam have an authentic charm. The Fisherman’s Village is a historical part of Bo Phut, with rustic-style buildings lining the narrow road housing boutique stores, trendy restaurants and accommodation. Every Friday night the Fisherman’s Village Walking Street brings the quiet, sleepy town of Bo Phut to life.
The most convenient way to get around Koh Samui is to rent a motorcycle or a car. The roads are quite good so you can get around easily. Be sure to wear a helmet at all times when riding a motorcycle.
