Phi Phi Islands
Often associated with Phuket, Phi Phi islands are actually in Krabi province. With stunning rock formations and clear turquoise waters, the islands have been the location for several major international film shoots including; The Beach; Bridget Jones’s Diary; Tomorrow Never Dies and The Man with the Golden Gun. Activities here range from snorkeling and scuba diving to rock climbing, hiking or simply relaxing on the beach. Phi Phi Don is famous for its festive atmosphere, and an excellent dining scene.
The larger and inhabited Phi Phi Don attracts hundreds of visitors to stay on its lovely shores while the smaller uninhabited Phi Phi Leh has stunningly beautiful bays and beaches, including world-famous Maya Bay, where the Leonardo de Caprio movie, The Beach was filmed.
