Update 29 October 2021

All is looking good and positive at this point.

Australia and New Zealand are in the 46 approved countries for quarantine-free air arrivals to Thailand starting 1 November 2021.

We are pumped to get back in promoting and traveling to Thailand!

Here are the procedures upon entering Thailand starting November 2021 onwards:

  1. You must apply for Thailand Pass effective 1 November at least 7 days prior to your travel date. For travellers who have been granted Certificate of Entry (COE) and will arrive in Thailand 1 Nov 2021 onwards, the COE remains valid for entering Thailand. Please allow 3-5 working days for approval process.
  2. A medical certificate with an RT-PCR lab result indicated Negative Covid-19 issued no more than 72 hours before traveling.
  3. An insurance policy with coverage of no less than US$50,000, which cover costs of treatment and other medical expenses associated with being infected with COVID-19, including in-patient hospitalisation for the whole duration. *Except Thai citizens who are entitled to national health insurance system.
  4. A confirmed payment for a 1-night stay at SHA+ or Alternative Quarantine accommodation and 1 RT-PCR test. Click here to check if your hotel, or any ground operators you’re booking is part of the scheme.
  5. A certificate of vaccination (fully vaccinated) at least 14 days before traveling.
  6. Undergo entry screening (health screening and immigration procedures) upon arrival and submit all documentation to officials.
  7. Proceed directly by the approved airport transfer to the pre-arranged COVID-19 test centre, or the reserved accommodation and undergo the required RT-PCR COVID-19 test on Day 0-1.
  8. If your result comes out negative, you can go anywhere in Thailand. You will receive an Antigen Testing Kit (ATK) that you have pre-paid when booking your accommodation. Any travellers experiencing Covid-19 symptoms, you must immediately get a test done. If no symptoms, you must use the provided ATK on Day 6-7, and show your result to accommodation staff and record the result in MorChana app.
